This unit was designed in response to a direct customer request. He was prepared to purchase a TOA based caller from a competitor until it was discovered that the product did not deliver the much touted 24 bit performance. The competitor's advertisement claims, "The audio quality produced by this system is sampled at 48KHz with 24 bit resolution." FOXPRO engineers discovered that the unit actually samples at 32KHz with a resolution of 16 bits! This is not even close to the performance promised in the advertisements. The prospective customer was rightfully appalled and couldn't understand how a manufacturer could get away with such blatant deceit or why they would do this in the first place. We wonder too. But this story has a happy ending. FOXPRO's Custom Shop engineers, in a few short weeks, designed a product with the same form factor as the unit in question, but with many more features. And, of course, the FOXPRO unit DOES sample at 48KHz with a resolution of 24 bits. Our customer also very much desired to be able to program the sounds in his caller from home. The competitors unit does not allow this -- the FOXPRO design does.

The unit is 100% user programmable and comes standard with 50 sounds your choice (in total, the unit can store up to 500 sounds with the included 4GB of storage space). It can play .FXP (FOXPRO's proprietary sound file), .24B (FOXPRO's proprietary 24 bit sound file), MP3, and uncompressed .WAV file types. This unit packs a punch with TRUE 24 bit audio at 48KHz sample rates. Aside from the FOXPRO Fury GX7, this is the only other unit on the market today that has been proven to play 24 bit audio files. Not to mention, plays with TRUE CD quality. The system reproduces loud and crystal clear audio from the lowest to highest volume settings.

Unlike similar calls on the market, this unit features an integrated USB port, auxiliary device jack (allows for controlling of a decoy), external speaker jack with separate amplifier, low battery indicator, three unique modes of sound playback, mono and stereo mode operation selectable via TX-500 remote control, and boasts greater audio power output than other similar styled units.
